About Jaime E. Kennedy, CPA, CFE

Most people who meet Jaime Kennedy quickly recognize her energy, discipline, and competitive drive.

Outside of her professional work, Jaime is an active fitness enthusiast who enjoys running local races, paddleboarding, sailing, fishing tournaments, boxing, weightlifting, hiking, spinning, and other outdoor activities throughout Hampton Roads.

Born and raised in Hampton Roads, Jaime graduated from Great Bridge High School in Chesapeake before earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Old Dominion University in 1997.

She began her accounting career early, working at respected local accounting firms including Witt, Mares & Company and McPhillips, Roberts, and Deans, where she gained extensive experience working with both local small businesses and larger corporate organizations.

Jaime earned her Certified Public Accountant designation in 1999 and later earned her Certified Fraud Examiner designation in 2013.

Inspired by the entrepreneurs and business owners she worked with throughout her early career, Jaime founded her own firm in 2009 to provide specialized forensic accounting and advisory services.

Today, she continues to work closely with attorneys, businesses, and individuals on complex financial matters requiring careful analysis, discretion, and trusted professional guidance.
